The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency today announced that it has extended the submission period for TSCA CDR reports to be open through January 29, 2021. The agency states that the submission period extension is in response to stakeholder requests for additional time due to technical issues with their electronic reporting tool. EPA is resolving these issues and working with stakeholders to assist with reporting. The Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) rule requires manufacturers and importers to report data on chemical manufacturing, processing, and use every four years. This information helps EPA understand exposure to these chemicals and screen and prioritize chemicals to identify and evaluate potential human health and environmental effects.
