Every July 1, the EPA excitedly awaits the arrival of all applicable industry sectors diligently prepared Form R reports.  Ok, so maybe that’s a bit of a stretch, but they certainty EXPECT that the appropriate parties SHALL submit their reports before July 1!
So here’s what you need to know, in a nutshell:
If a facility meets all three of the criteria below, it must report to the TRI Program:
1) Is in a specific industry sector (e.g., manufacturing, mining, electric power generation)
2) Employs 10 or more full-time equivalent employees
3) Manufactures, processes, or otherwise uses a TRI-listed chemical in quantities above threshold levels in a given year.
JULY 1: Deadline for facilities that meet TRI reporting requirements to submit reporting forms for chemical waste management and pollution prevention activities that occurred during the previous calendar year. ————————————————————————————————— Cassie Lee is an Account Manager and Business Development Professional with over a decade of experience in environmental consulting.  You can reach her at clee@corner-enviro.com or 317-983-1719 with any questions or for assistance on TRI reporting.
